KCB customers to redeem loyalty points via Glovo and Jumia

KCB Simba Points is a loyalty program that rewards you for transacting with the Bank. Every time you transact with your credit, debit, or pre-paid card, use KCB mobi on *522#, bank online with KCB i-Bank or use our KCB mobile app, deposit money at any KCB Mtaani agent, process your salary, or even take a loan, mortgage or insurance cover, KCB rewards you.

KCB Bank customers will now be able to redeem their loyalty points for vouchers to offset their shopping or delivery of goods to their homes.

This follows a partnership between the lender, Glovo and Jumia which will allow customers to redeem as low as Sh250, effectively facilitating cashless payments.

The redemption for vouchers is one of the bank’s move to ensure our customers’ safety as they shop online and have their goods delivered straight to the doorsteps.

Online stores such as Glovo and Jumia are synonymous with online shopping in Kenya. Therefore, reinforcing, the importance of this partnership

 KCB will also continue to forge other strategic partnerships with various platforms that add value to KCB customers.

The Bank through its Simba Points loyalty program is also in partnership with several other merchants including Chandarana Supermarkets and Text Book Centre, making it easier for customers to redeem their points for various rewards.

KCB customer are required to log into the Simba Points website www.simbapoints.kcbgroup.com, with their mobile number and secret Simba Points PIN, select the gift vouchers page, redeem points, get a voucher that they can then use to offset the cost of their shopping on their preferred online store

How do I enroll for Simba Loyalty Points?

Via USSD Platform

  1. Dial *522#
  2. Select ‘My Account’
  3. Select ‘Simba Points‘ and follow the steps.

Via KCB App

  • Open the Main Menu on the App
  • Select ‘Simba Points’
  • Select ‘Enroll’ and follow the steps to finalize the enrolment process.

Via Branch Enrollment

  • Visit a KCB branch near you.
  • Fill in an amendment form (if you are an existing customer) or account opening form (for new customers) and tick in the Loyalty box. For queries, customer service officers at the branch will assist you.
  • Ensure your mobile number, date of birth, and full account(s) details are correct to ensure smooth enrollment.

How do I activate my membership?

To activate Simba Points Membership:

  • Log into the Simba Points website on this link https://simbapoints.kcbgroup.com/ke/index.aspx
  • Select the red button “Login”
  • Select “Customer Login” and insert your mobile number 
  • Select “First Time Login” and insert your mobile number again then click on continue. 
  • You will receive a one-time pin which you will use to change to a pin of your choice.
  • You will have access to your Simba Point Statement.
