This comes in as a copetitor to other services like Masterpass (MasterCard) and m-Visa (VisaCard) as well as the major intergarated payment platform safaricom m-pesa.
If all goes wel according to plan; least Huduma Kenya pushes further with the service the card will be a plus in offering services like Uwezo Fund beneficiaries, Youth and Women Funds disbursements, National Youth Service, Social welfare government cash transfers to families, government food subsidies, hunger safety net cash transfers and cash transfers to orphaned children as first intended toward true financial inclusion.
How to apply for Huduma Card: Every one can apply for the Huduma card as long as they are above 18 years of age and do hold a national ID from any of the 32 Huduma Centre countrywide across all 27 counties.
